
This sunglasses is inspired by the famous painting of John Sargent’s portrait of Virginie Amélie Avegno Gautreau entitled Madame X. She was known for her sophistication and beauty. And just like Patricia Field’s Madame X shades, it illustrates the 18th century design, elegance and beauty.
Madame X Shades is a shield type of eyewear with no sun protection at all. This eyewear, I suspect, is made for masquerade parties and the like. It is custom made eyewear designed by Jaesyn Burke. The sequined floral and rhinestones are placed on the edges with elaboration and avant-garde style.
